Interesting generator option : Yeah, I know that's how it's...

And for some reason the hyperlink function on this forum hasn't worked for me recently, don't know why.

I particularly like that the mfr says you can lay this on it's side (one side only the other way it leaks). So it can fit in a very small space.

Even with a relatively small capacity battery, combined with a hybrid type inverter/charger that parallels with it, this could also probably work to run an a/c as long as the a/c duty cycle was not too great. The batteries would act to levelize the load on the small generator, and the inverter could take care of the a/c startup load.

Interesting generator option : FYI: You don't need to...

For example, in the link above, everything from the ref=asc and following is not needed. The ASIN, B0B7P71KJS/ is the important part. Also, if you use the globe with the link, you can paste it as a working hyperlink. Just be sure to check to make sure you remove the http:// or https:// from the link and choose http or https in the drop-down list and it will work just fine.

Here is the link posted as a working hyperlink:

https://www.amazon.com/ALP-Generator-1000W-Orange-Black/dp/B0B7P71KJS/

Agreed. It looks interesting for someone wanting a lightweight generator that runs on propane and will be sufficient to charge the battery/batteries if solar or shore power is not available.

Lightweight, no gasoline mess. won't run your a/c or micro but maybe an alternative or in addition to solar for 12v battery charging. You can even lay it on its side in an outside storage compartment according to the mfr.
