I disassembled it and found a washer inside one of the chambers. I think it had not been assembled correctly and the washer was pinched in the housing. After a few years, it had finally vibrated loose. After I disassembled it and reassembled it correctly, it has operated properly since.<div><br></div><div>As for the problem at hand, I think there is a check-valve in the pump. It may be stuck. It just wasn't happening. The day before it had been working perfectly. On a hunch I disconnected both hoses from the pump, turned the pump on and could feel it sucking air when I put my hand over the opening. Hooked it back up and it worked great. Maybe there was an airlock.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1821" rel="nofollow">hogone</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 15485<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 Oct 2022 at 5:59am<br /><br />Yup, looks like I will yank the pump.&nbsp; Just to clarify everything, I thoroughly winterized everything last fall with rv antifreeze as I have been for 10+ years.&nbsp; This spring dewinterized the entire system and everything worked wonderfully.&nbsp; A few days ago when I decided to drain everything just to rinse everything out (and I actually ran the pump prior to and it worked fine).&nbsp; When I say drain everthing, I mean fresh water tank, hot water heater, low point drains, etc.&nbsp; When I refilled fresh tank to fill hot water tank and fill lines, the pump would not prime as usual.&nbsp; Prob just a coincidence of the pump malfunction.&nbsp; Thanks all for your input.&nbsp; jpp]]>

Probably it's toast, but it wouldn't&nbsp; hurt to take the pump apart, clean everything up and inspect,<div>&nbsp;then if you like what you see put it back together and bench test it with a suction line and a water jug. . Sometimes you get lucky, and at worst you learn something for the next time someone has a problem.&nbsp;</div>]]>

Replaced it and all worked well. Looking at the crack it looked more like a scratch. Good luck with your issue. <br>]]>

All you're trying to do is get the pump primed. For whatever reason it's not able to self prime by drawing water from the fwt. The siphon hose set in a jug of water will be above the level of the pump which will make it easier for it to prime itself.&nbsp;]]>

I know on ours the hot water tank has to fill before we start seeing water. We get some cold but we don't see any consistent pressure until the entire system is charged. That usually takes a few minutes. Best of luck.]]>

Filled up tank, fired up the pump and it doesnt seem to be pressurizing.&nbsp; It runs, but no air or water coming out of faucets.&nbsp; Double checked all my valves, cleaned the screen (nothing really there), and double checked everything again.&nbsp; &nbsp;Thoughts,&nbsp; &nbsp;jpp]]>
