Tech did not test under load just at wires disconnected from through roof plate as indicated by Go Power. Controller was just replaced but same GoPower model....I have spare 12 v batteries from our off grid cabin and boats so that may be my next step without having to remove the trailer batteries...

That is what I did. The PowerPole connectors are much easier to disconnect and connect, and can be done repeatedly without special tools.

You can't just check the open circuit voltage and the short circuit current of a solar module and call it good. If your having a problem then you should place the module(s) under load.

To do that you can connect the solar modules directly to a 12V battery without the controller. This wont harm the battery by overcharging it if you only do it for a short time

You'll probably have to buy a sect of MC connectors so you can connect the modules to the battery.

Once connected, on a clear sunny day record the battery voltage and the charging current. The current should be in the range of 4 or 5 amps or so from each module and 8 to 10A from the two modules combined in parallel.

If you get that then the modules are good and you can focus on wiring or controller issues.

Had the dealer install GoPower 220 flex panel kit that comes with GP30 controller. It has never worked right. now batteries discharge daily. GoPower replaced controller under warranty but charging amps still below 1, even in full sun with boost. Dealer rewired as wrong gage extensions had been used. Field tech has tested panel output and its fine. Any suggestions appreciated.
