The Zamp connector is wired reverse polarity on some early Rpod installations. When I plug my Zamp solar 60 watt into the Prewired Zamp port on my RPOD 178 I get a code 601..

I looked on Youtube and he said the code means battery not connected...

I put the solar panel out in direct sunlight for 3 hours and get the same code 601...

If the battery is dead will that be the cause???? Ouch

Marine Battery 2 years old..
