We got the color black to match AC cover and vent rain covers. It works a little better than our old one from the manufacturer Gulf Stream. Need to replace the amplifier with the one that comes with the new antenna.]]>

There are a lot of different brands of antennas that may work for a replacement I don't know enough about them to know which would be better. We replaced ours hoping to get better reception but our replacement wasn't much better. The radio I think has a separate antenna.]]>

What are the things I should consider?</div><div><br></div><div>I have a 2016 172&nbsp; and had the original (I guess it's what you guys call a batwing).</div><div>I don't need anything exceptional, just basic. The easier it is to mount the better but I am paying someone to do it right.</div><div><br></div><div>I don't watch the tv but just for the sake of keeping things in good repair I want to replace it.&nbsp; I do use the radio occasionally.
