Your responses are making me think. First outing with this unit. I'm on city water. Therefore why would I need to conserve water? My understanding it is to return to fresh water tank until warm water temp is reached. Can try using it when dry camping.

Please give a bit more information.  Are you attempting to go from winterization mode to summer mode?  Do you have a 2 valve or 3 valve system.  What is the problem you are encountering.  If the pump runs and you get no water out of either the H or C faucet it could be as simple as not having the 3 way valve shut allowing air to enter the pigtail - this is the line used if you winterize by using RV antifreeze.
