South of Bishop there are several BLM campgrounds at lower elevations that are open all year. 

Northeast of Bishop are some good boon docking areas that you can use any time.

We ended up staying at Pleasant Valley Campground just north of Bishop. Worked out fine. Hi all! Planning on going to the Owens River next week. Having trouble finding campgrounds with or without RV hookups that are open now. All the Browns are closed until March. Any suggestions would be so appreciated!
