You could go to the https://pahaque.com/ website and check for a trailer shade, or trailer tent. If you consider a side tent, I would recommend getting the dometic cabana. https://www.dometic.com/en-ca/outdoor/ca/products/climate/rv-awnings/awning-accessories/extended-space/dometic-cabana-room-_-39387 It attaches to the rpod, and creates a space as large as the rpod, but it's empty, so it actually more than doubles your space. These things are great to have when buggy, or rainy. You can sit outside and laugh at the weather. Many times they are sold used here, or other sites. It's called an r-dome.

That is what happened with mine when it went to the factory for repair after an accident where we hit ice with a crosswind. I would not recommend that as a way to get an awning. Better to rig up one that slides into the Keder rail. See my mods and you will see both the homemade awning and the Thule awning that replaced it.

First off I’m finding out the water tank is in the back so now I have to figure out how to make it heavier in the front. I’m also seeing some smaller trailers like mine with awnings, can anyone suggest somewhere I can have one put on. I live in the Pacific Northwest. Looking forward to doing some traveling.
