+1 to the bungee, first and easiest cheap effective fix for your bouncy step problem.

Maybe a piece of rope in a pinch till you can get a proper length, sturdy bungee strap of an appropriate length.

Not one of those cheap bungee cords either, I mean one of the better, resilient black rubber ones that won't fail your first trip out on the road. Buy cheap junk then expect to be quickly disappointed.

You might need to put a bungee cord around them while in transit if this keeps occurring.

Happy Fourth everyone
I just got my rpod in June and on two separate days of a trip the steps have bounced out. Any ideas to hold them in place or are they missing something? They are the ordinary two step/fold in half and slide back underneath door.
