That's great!  

My wife and I picked up a barely used '20 171 late last fall and took our maiden voyage down to Ft Myers Beach in Florida...about a 12 hour trip.

This month we're going to pull up to Maine which will be a few hours longer drive.  

So far we really like the Rpod...much smaller than we are accustomed to, but that was the idea!  Our kids don't want to camp with us anymore, so we downsized!

On this trip we'll use the Pahaque canopy for the first time.  I ordered it around Christmas but haven't even tried to set it up yet.

Greetings all!!

We are Deb and Dave (aka "da ve") and we are getting ready for our first real trip in our rpod 171.  It's a 2017 that we picked up used from a family member. I say our first "real" trip because we have already towed it from Wisconsin back to Massachusetts this spring but we didn't sleep/camp in it on that trip.  In a few days we're headed out on our inaugural voyage, staying at the beach for a bit and then Vermont's "northeast kingdom".  To say we're excited about our first trip is rather an understatement! Smile

Looking forward to participating in the forum and maybe seeing other rpod folks out on the road...
