Forgot to mention/ask. Tonight is last chance launch of Black Brant XII rocket @ Wallops. You should have a great view from Chincoteague and a great light show to the south. Supposed to look like aurora borealis.

Hay Leo! Great start with your new camper!! We were down Assateague last November. Place has gotten real popular past year.

Just got back from Trap Pond State Park - about 20 miles due west of Bethany Beach, DE.  Really great state park on the edge of a 100 acre bald cypress pond. Caught one baby bass and a (ughhh!) catfish.
Kayaking/biking was fantastic. Most amazing kayak launcher I've ever seen!

It is about 625 mile south east of Vermont. It is a true piece of heaven!! We spent 10 days there and am now down on Chincoteague Island. Figure we would do a run to test out our new camper.

Of course Leo can answer but I've camped there too, pre-Pod.  It's right on the border of Virginia and Maryland, as far east as you can go at that latitude.  Chincoteague is just south and is famous for its wild ponies.

Is this located in Vermont from where you reside Leo?  Have never been 'east' that far (most easterly I have been is Pennsylvania).

Just spent the last 10 nights camping at Assateague Island!! It was excellent! We spent 4 nights at the State Park and 6 nights at the National park. Both were excellent. We spent 4 of the 6 nights at an ocean sid site and 2nights in a bay side site. Great weather for hiking and fishing !!
