They don't fit. This is how they do. The top stud goes through one of the lug nut openings. There should be a flat bar that goes over the second stud and goes to hold the tire.

I bought a 2015 178 model and the guy moved the spare tire to the tongue.  I am moving the tire back to the rear hitch, but the bolts (2) on the spare hitch head dont fit the spare tire 5 hole pattern.  I'm wondering if i am missing a piece to be able to use both bolts to secure the tire to the mount.  Any thoughts? ]]> Tue, 13 Apr 2021 13:19:36 +0000 https://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=14547&PID=141658#141658
