    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=9925" rel="nofollow">Pod_Geek</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 14514<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05 Apr 2021 at 8:47am<br /><br />No experience with the campground, but we used to vacation at the Maritime Cottages there at Goose Rocks Beach in the late 60s/early 70s.&nbsp; Great beach.&nbsp; One of our favorite things to do was to walk to the SW end of the beach (highlighted in yellow) and swim out into the tidal channel as the tide was ebbing.&nbsp; The water that was heading seaward had been basking in the sun landward and was delightfully warm.&nbsp; You'll find that the "regular" ocean water in Maine in June may still be a tad chilly, and so that trick may be just what the doctor ordered.<div><br></div><div><img src="https://i.postimg.cc/cCH4hkYC/GR-Beach.jpg" height="553" width="460" border="0" /><br></div>]]>
