    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=2" rel="nofollow">Guests</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1447<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05 Oct 2010 at 5:26pm<br /><br />I can't say anything definitive, as I have no personal experience.&nbsp; My unit (non-Pod)&nbsp;came with one of the really cheapo fans (I'm sure you know what I'm talking about), so I've been casually looking into a replacement - probably next Spring.&nbsp; There seems to be 3 major "players"; Fantastic Vent(Fan), Shurflo and, Maxxair.&nbsp; Each has it's own cheerleaders, as with most things.&nbsp; In a couple of forum posts (on other RV forums) the persons exchanged the Fantastic unit with the Shurflo and said it&nbsp;was less noisy.&nbsp; I seem to see the most comments about the Maxxair units and most are favorable.&nbsp; The Maxxair Turbo looks interesting, to me, but $$$$. <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I'm interested to see what/if anyone has any comments on this thread.&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><a href="http://maxxair.com/turbo-maxx.html" target="_blank">http://maxxair.com/turbo-maxx.html</A></DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>PS - The only one I've found data on was the Shurflo and it stated it's noise level was 50db (if memory serves).&nbsp; It did not state at what speed the fan was running or at what distance from the fan this was measured (again, if memory serves).</DIV>]]>
