    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8600" rel="nofollow">offgrid</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 14454<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 Mar 2021 at 8:40am<br /><br />+1. 400 lbs is not adequate for an rpod. <br /><br />The wdh and spring bars need to take a g load of at least twice the hitch load if you hit a rough road or pothole,  and don’t forget that the wdh is also redistributing some of the load in the rear of the tow vehicle. 600 lbs is minimum, I have 1000 lb bars on mine and it doesn’t create an overly stiff or bouncy condition on my rig.]]>
