With my fishing buddy Mike we bought a 2017 179 new. We've enjoyed some trips, too few, but enjoyed what the Rpod provides while pursuing our hobby.

Recently the slide-out has trouble going out or coming in uniformly. One side hesitates and causes a skip of one or more teeth on the rail. Once it goes out completely the lagging side catches up.

Is this a not to worry about if its only a few teeth, or is it serious enough to take to a dealer?

While the slide-out was out last time, I didn't think quick enough to explore the top if there was debris, but there should not be any as it was recently cleaned and checked by myself. I did look at the rails on both sides and didn't see any deformities or broken teeth there.

Currently it is retracted and I am hesitant to push it out to see if there is some obstruction on the top.

What should be my course of action?

Thanks in advance for your time to respond.

Peter
