Marine batteries are a compromise between a deep cycle and a starting battery because they need to perform both functions, so they aren’t generally able to handle as many deep cycles as a golf cart battery will. I think Trojan makes a line of 12V golf cart batteries, among other brands. ]]>

That is a measure of how fast a battery can put out power. What is needed is a 20 hour rating. That is a better measure of how much power a battery can store and release.
