I have not noticed any ill effects from using it. The only thing to keep track of is something that can happen whether you use the Reflectix or not. That is the rubber that holds the glass in place can shrink. If it does, just seal the gap with either silicone or other rubberized sealant and you will be good to go.]]>

Mine is on the rear window.  I put it there to insulate the sleeping area from the cold.  The rear window was extremely cold when I happened to camp in the winter for 3 months.  It has caused nothing.  It insulates the sleeping area.  I didn't experience the same issues from the side windows.  If you do see issues remove it.  Personally I don't use the rear, single pane window so I have never removed it.]]>
