I would add that  since you were not connected to power, the heater is the biggest user of battery power.  The propane will last a long time, but the battery usage is the bigger concern when boondocking.

Using the heater when not connected to shore power is probably the biggest battery draw. I folks, i don't have an issue or problem with my my heater. but i had to use it last Saturday night for about 10-20 min. to warm up the inside before bunk down. I was wondering, does the heater run on battery or propane or a combination of both?
