We use ours for shoe storage. My wife likes it because she sits there and likes to prop up her feet on it. For those of you with 179's that have removed the right hand "foot stool" how did that work out?  I'm considering doing that on our next outing since we don't use it much for storage and it would give us a bit more floor space.
