On our F-150, those lights time out after a short while. I think you can set the delay either in the console, or through Forscan. If the trailer has backup lights (pretty sure most Rpods do not), the power would also come from the tow vehicle. I know our F-150 supports it, but I don't know about yours.]]>

That is controlled by the Frontier. I think it is to let you have lights if you get home and it is dark. After a minute or so, all the lights turn off. Something similar may be happening. If it is an extended period and the lights are not turning off, you would need to check your owner's manual or consult your brand's dealer to diagnose why. The RPod is just passive in this. ]]>

Perhaps it only stays lit for a minute or so after shut off, as a courtesy light while you walk in the house?? ]]>
