If you frequent places with a very low but existing cell signal a weboost with a directional antenna does a great job of bringing in Internet. If you are down in a holler and there is no signal then mobile sat data is the only option and that’s very expensive. That’s when you get to enjoy being free of the internet. Read a book or bring some movies for those rainy days and enjoy! ]]>

You could use a couple of rubber or felt 'feet' to cushion and protect it. If so, you can locate where there is framing that you can use. You might be able to feel it as the wall will flex except where it is backed up. One risk of drilling into a wall is that there might be something behind it that would not do well with a drill hole such as a sewage tank vent stack or wiring. That is why you should make sure of where you are drilling. Access would also let you put in reinforcing wood for the shelf if there is not any in the place you want to mount your shelf.]]>
