I was finally able to cancel the 1st night. It was a small state campground with no direct number. At least now I know that trying to reach RA is nearly impossible. My experience with them is you payahead. I also have checked in late, but the space was paid for. If I called and canceled I was refunded. If I never showed and never canceled, I paid. I would keep trying to contact but I think you own the space. Regarding reservations made through Reserve America, if you show up 1 day late will the remainder of your reservation be cancelled?  I can't get through to anyone on the phone, I don't care about losing the 1st night fee, just need to show up a day late.  Anyone have experience with this?
