Wall paper peeling : Hi all, I’m preparing to install...

    Author: Prestone
Subject: 13611
Posted: 02 Jun 2020 at 3:21pm

Hi all,

I’m preparing to install curtains rods and curtains in my 2014 182G so I removed the blinds and valences from the windows, leaving behind holes where the screws were and some areas of peeling wall paper where the blind brackets had stuck to the walls (see pic).

My plan to fix the holes is to use wood filler putty b/c I think it’ll dry to a similar color as the wall paper, then sand lightly to blend. Any better ideas?

I’m not sure what to do about the peeling wall paper. Maybe tan tape to cover?

I’m really not a big fan of the wall paper and I have a crazy idea to just peel it all off and expose the wood panel for a cabin-in-woods type feel (optimistic, I know). Could be a messy job and may not come off easily. Anyone try this yet?
