There is a small possibility that if it is very hot in the compartment (it is close to 90 where I am now, and if that compartment is facing the sun, it could be very hot in there), that the sensor to keep gas flowing is thinking the heat exchanger is too hot and stopping the flow. Long-shot, but may be worth looking into.

Here is a link to an HVAC person explaining why a furnace won't stay lit: https://georgebrazilhvac.com/blog/why-wont-my-gas-furnace-stay-lit

The h/w tank will make 3 attempts to light. With out getting to close (it's goes whoooosh if it lights) see if you smell propane. If you smell propane, it's probably an igniter problem. Might need a new igniter board. igniter board is less than 100 dollars on amazon

Diisconnect 12V from the fridge for awhile to reset and try again. If that doesn't work then you might try this manual.

http://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/Service%20Manual,%20RM8xxx.pdf

Hope its not the control boards, those are outrageously expensive.

It does work on 120Vac and 12Vdc, right?
