On the Forest River Forum someone asked the same question about lowering the table that has a yellow Button.

Here's one reply:  "There is a latch with a spring beside the yellow button. When you release the latch the table collapses sideways like a camel going down, lol."

Still can't find out where to unlock it. We have a round yellow button but it doesn't "pull" or unlock anything. Our table does not seem to have any knob. There's nothing to pull. Maybe a different design?

I remember the first time I raised and lowered mine. I was scratching my head saying, "how the heck". Pulling the black round knob on the left side of the table frame in this picture releases the catch that holds the top up. The top has to be pulled away from the wall to allow the hinges in the legs to fold. The table will fold down real easy if you pull the top away from the wall while while keeping the feet of the legs from moving. The table will fold down to the height of the bed, then slide it back in place up against the wall.
