I believe you said you found some "filters". I would say they filter. Either the air inside, or the air coming in from outside.

They are for the air conditioner. They slide into the slots on the end. I tried to post an image but was not able to... I found a couple of white plastic what looks like to be filters that say dometic on it in the bag with all the manuals. No idea what they are what they are for. They are shaped like a knife. It looks like they slide in or out of something. The only thing I have that is dometic is the fridge and they R dome...
