You could try removing the waste valve to expose the the hub on the end f the pipe. That may twist a bit or you may need to cut the pipe, install a connector and turn the pipe to the desired position...then re-blue the pipe and connector. Or tell the dealer they did a crappy job and to fix it

You can't adjust it there. However, it may be twisted a little where it goes into the tank. Look there and if it is, you might be able to loosen the clamp, twist it straighter, and then tighten the clamp there. Mine does the same thing. I don't have the covering so I can see it easier.

The only other way would be to cut the valve off and glue a new one back on that is mounted straighter. That would be much more work. You might be better off leaving things alone now that you have a good deal of ground clearance.

    Author: mjlrpod
Subject: 13492
Posted: 20 Apr 2020 at 12:59pm

As some may or may not recall, my black tank dump tube was very low when I purchased my 195. It was originally about 4 1/2 inches of clearance from the ground when level. I complained to forest river and they agreed to have it looked at. The dealer was able to readjust it, and get it to about 7 inches, but I insisted I wanted risers because the entire frame was to low. So now I have close to 12 inches of clearance with the risers. but as you can see, the gate is installed crooked, and the handle hangs almost 2 inches lower than the tube. Am I able to move that or is it cemented in that position? I wondered if the 4 screws have anything to do with locking that in position? Anyone know about this?
