1.  Is there a difference between the 2019 and 2020 models?  There are two for sale near us and just wondering...the 2020 is listed at $500 less

2.  Is there such thing as a pre-purchase checklist so we can make sure we negotiate the right things, including things we don't know about but should know?

Decided against a surround since Forest River stated it is waterproof how it is, others on the forum concurred and I didn't find a surround that I liked and wasn't too heavy. Our only thought was to paint it but will wait and see if that is necessary. A recommendation was to squeegee the walls after use, so I bought a squeegee and will try that. Will check out the surge guard. Thanks for sharing the info!

The lower the temps, the higher the propane use. When we were traveling in winter, we were using a tank of propane every 2-3 days, and that was with the thermostat set no higher than 65. The outside temps were single-digit with a significant wind chill. OTOH, during the summer months, the propane lasts a long time. Still, I recently put in dual tanks with an automatic changeover so if we get into a situation of needing more propane, I won't have to worry about whether the tank will run out in the middle of the night.

I also installed an AP Products (Mopeka) tank monitor setup with one receiver and two senders. I made sure to get the aluminum feet as I heard that the rubber ones don't really work well. I did not like using the app on my phone.

I have only run one propane tank on 3 campers i've owned. I have never run out of propane during the season. Your mileage may vary. I use electric hot water when available, same with fridge. The biggest use of propane is if you use heat. I have a 195, and filled my tank in June. I took at least 8 - 9 trips with it last summer. I also periodically used the heat this winter while I did a few projects in the camper. I still have propane. 

It is a Furrion and mounted between the clearance lights.  Unfortunately I’m at work until Thursday so I can’t give you any more info than this

Weather here in MT finally, improving, hope to see the last of snow so we can try the camper out, other than in the driveway, wondering if we will need dual lp and batteries. Only upgrade completed so far, new bath faucet. Found the original one pinched your fingers trying to turn on/off.

We included in our unit 300w solar, King Falcon Wi-Fi Extender, backup camera, dual 6v batteries, dual 20lb lp tanks, and I installed the Southwire Surge Guard Protection (will post install pics when I figure out how and where🤪)

I’m excited to pull the unit off the driveway   and share in this forum!

Btw, I have the furrion back up camera, and it works great. Quite frankly I use it more for seeing behind me when towing. It's better than mirrors when making lane changes, or just seeing what's going on behind you. I considered getting the side cams, but I don't think I need them.
