I see the front and back plastic tabs on the bottom of the cover and the small bungee cord, I assumed the first owner put the bungee there. I thought there must be another way to secure the cover because that seems so flimsy and the tabs look like they could break off easy.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>I ended up using a long EPDM strap to hold mine down from the inside. There's a small hole in the front center of my cover so I hook one end of the strap there then run it inside under the tank frame back up behind the tank to hook on to one of the holes in the tank handle. Nice and secure now. And I also put some thin adhesive foam weather strip on the inside of that metal retaining strap to keep the metal to metal chafing down.&nbsp;</div>]]>

(I bought mine used and it was set up this way). My tank cover is secured under the trailer with a bungee cord. Once the cover is removed there is a bracket with a nut and bolt holding the tank to the frame of the trailer.
