I made new curtains and got rid of the plastic track, installing two long curtain rods instead. I also made them long enough to go side-to-side across the 179's kitchen. A tie in the middle holds them open if we want it wide-open. Otherwise, we open them a bit and then just pull them closed at night. The rods have holders at each end and an additional holder in the center due to the length of the rods.]]>

My wife made some replacement curtains that are looser and, therefore, open and close much more easily.]]>
