We bought our 2012 prod about a year ago now.  Just a few weeks ago we took it to the Smokey mountains for our first and second weekend trips.  The first trip we just set the camper up and enjoyed a long weekend.  No surprises or issues to deal with, so was a good trip.  The second trip we stayed in a busy campground and were sandwiched between large rigs.  When I bought the camper it came with an R dome tent room, but the original owner said he got it second hand and had never tried it.  He didn’t even know if it fit or not.  So, we parked and decided to try it out.  I was smart enough to utube how to set it up first.  It was really easy to set and was up in 20 mins or so.  Now I’m sure I could do it in ten.  It rained a bit on the first day, but the tent/dome kept everything well away from the entry.  The biggest benefit was all the extra privacy it provided.  All the screen windows can be rolled up if you want a view in the right spot but in a crowded campground, the privacy was excellent.  The room it provided was great for a large table and chairs and was close to about the same size at the camper.  Great for both rain or hot sunny days to provide shade.  I can’t say enough about how much it improved our experience.]]> Mon, 11 Nov 2019 18:22:24 +0000 https://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=13274&PID=128104#128104 https://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=13274&PID=128103#128103 Author: Brent S
