There are two springs in the top of the blinds for tension.  If the screws are secured to the wall at the bottom of the blinds, untie the knot and pull gently on the string on both sides of the blinds and retie the knot.  I used a knot that is called a stevedore knot that is a stopper knot.  The knot is for ending a rope or string with a larger knot. The string on one of mine broke and camping world has string and spring kits with instructions if needed.

I have just addressed a similar problem.
The screws that held the framing of the meshed boxed area under the ref. came loose. All 4 screws against the wall.
I found a #6x 1 1/4" "Self Drilling Drywall Dry Wall Anchor" at our local ACE Hardware. You can purchase by each. Have seen them online with similar names. The anchors are white plastic and have very large threads to screw into the wall insulation. This anchor doesn't look like it expands like many other anchors. I also used the #6x 1 1/4 sheetrock screw as it has a slightly smaller shank...to avoid more pressure on the anchor. The screw had to first go thru the wood framing which is about 1/2". You would have to adjust your screw length if you are only securing valance brackets and may have to use Sheetmetal or wood screws for shorter lengths.
I applied "Tacky Glue" (found at craft stores)around the outside of the anchor and screwed it in with gentle force. Allowed it to dry overnight. I drilled the wood framing slightly larger than the screw as I wanted the screw to grip only the anchor. The screw worked well. I was careful not to over screw it. The anchor stayed in place and I am satisfied with my results.

If tightening the screws isnt enough (they're just screwed into the wall) you may need to add some short wall anchors, or possibly larger diameter screws - just make sure that they are no longer than the existing screws, just larger in diameter! You dont want to go through the wall

The valances over the window blinds  in our R-Pod are loose.  I'm trying to figure out how to tighten them up.  I've thought of glueing them to the wall...but that seems so permanent.

Any ideas?
