I was given some and then decided it was a cheap way to help keep the water safe in my tank after my spring sanitizing. so far, it seems to work well. The other thing I do is to run the water through a filter before adding to the tank. The Camco TastePURE filter is what I use. I usually get them at my local Walmart since that is generally the least expensive option.<br>]]>
