I hate the noise from the pump especially on a quiet night...

Technology gets better and pumps get better as new stuff is developed. I know when I changed the original pump and added a new pump, my pump pressure increased minimally. Newbie question: while our water pump moves water, it isn't a strong stream. Had a neighbor who also has a trailer confirm that our water pressure is pretty much the way it is in hers. So my question is, are there levels of pumps (more efficient and more $$$ to less efficient and less $) that can be installed?
