Congratulations and welcome! I grew up not too far from Buffalo. I hope you have many fun adventures and make many great memories with your RPod. Congratulations!

the 171 is indeed the classic RPod, we were very close to buying one but ended up with the 178... I'll be honest I really like the luxury of the 178 slide out but would have been very happy with the simplicity of the 171! :-)

A word of warning, this forum is very addictive but also very informative. Every time when I fix something that is not quite right, my wife and kids smirk and say... " you learned that on the rpod forum didnt you!"

It's truly a fantastic tool.

Welcome.

In my opinion, the 171/2s are unsurpassed. They are 'classic' R-pods without any compromises for slideouts or longer lengths.
