Hello fellow 181G owner!  Ours is presently unmodified, but I have been thinking about ways to utilize that hard-to-access space under the bed.  I think I will cut an opening in the center section, move the electric outlet, and use the space to slide things in and out of.  Also, it would be a great place to kick off your shoes when going to sleep, or for many other possibilities.

Also we bought a pair of 'armchair cushions' so we can sit up for reading or watching tv.

Hi

I have an 181G, with the bed forward.  The bed is great for sleeping, but in the daytime it seems like the bed space could be more usable.  Has anyone "out there" created a couch/ daytime sitting area on the bed, or otherwise modified to  make it more daytime- usable?  

Also -- there seems to be some under- mattress storage space, but without any modifications  the access seems to be by raising the mattress  or maneuvering in the front outer compartment  behind the spare tire  -- neither of which is not very convenient. Has anyone "out there" come up with better/ easier access to this space?
