To each their own.. BUT..  save some money.  Buy a 3 step stool, a broom. Before you bring the slide in, go up on the 3 step and sweep the slide top off.... You should check  the top of the slide, even with a slide topper.. I paid a little less than furpod for our 179 topper from RVPartsCountry, although the price has gone up.

This is just for the roller; the brackets have to be purchased separately, which brings the price to $273 now. Thinking about getting a slide topper from RV Nations. Runs about 700.Was thinking that was high. 
Anyone have dealings with them and is the Topper they install that good?
