Thanks for the replies guys . . being as cheap as I am I have made this  up for securing my batteries. Sure  it is just a deterrent and  the chain could be cut  but hopefully they would move on for easier pickings .
It is a 2 x 8 with notches in the centre of each side and cleats into the lower parts of the battery lids so the 2 x 8 cannot be pulled out sideways and it can't be lifted without either cutting the chain or undoing the lock on the mini chain binder .

Thanks and I found that amazon.com does have a variety of them .I was previously using the wrong search words .

Or, if you have them in standard plastic boxes, consider making a lockdown mechanism like the one I made for our 179. I think it would be enough to convince a potential battery thief to look elsewhere for easier pickings. I got a trailer tongue box from harbor freight reasonable....use self tapping screws to mount it, put batteries in, close lid and lock.  fits nicely behind the propane tanks.

Thanks . I am looking for a source and price  for the right size box . Amazon doesn't seem to have one to fit R-Pod

I am going to be storing my R-Pod where it might not be secure against battery theft .I have dual batteries behind the propane tank .
