Bubble levels! (save that fridge!)

Rubber wheel chocks from HF work way better than the hollow plastic wheel chocks, especially on pavement.

Inline water filter and right angle fitting for your fresh water hose, if you hook up to 'city water'.

As said, the sewer hose is to short. You can make your own sewer hose ( mine is 15-16 ft long extended) that will fit in your factory sewer hose holder.  Then you don't have to buy a longer than needed hose and install a holder for it under the pod.. But to each their own.  And welcome to the podding nation.

My best advice (take it or leave it) is to spend some time here reading past post here on the forum and doing what you have with asking questions when you don't understand something. Remember we all had to start at the same point your now at. As for the black (sewer) pipe my advice is to buy the best pipe you can afford. I use Valterra Dominator drain pipe and carry two 10 (or is it 15? can't remember!) feet pipes with me in two carriers. Buy a clear view universal fit threaded screw in 90 degree bayonet fitting that attaches to the end of your sewer hose and goes into the dump hole. You'll be glad you bought a "clear view" fitting when it comes time to dump and flush out your tanks Gray and Black. Remember dump your Black water tank first, close its valve, and then dump the Gray water tank.

As for leveling blocks I have some interlocking Camco leveling blocks and couple cheap plastic chalks and couple of better rubber chalks that I picked up from Harbor Freight. I also carry some cut up 6" or so inches treated lumber 2 by 4 blocks that I put under the stabilizer jacks.

Both RVs we bought came with starter kits but they are pretty useless being of such poor quality.  There are many posts  (search under my name for items you need to have, just one of many posts people made).  It is usually better to buy at Amazon for good quality parts at the lowest prices.  One example.  Go out a buy a sewer hose that has two 10 foot pieces so when you have a long connection to make you have the spare hose to attach.  If you have a RPOD with separate grey and black water hose connectors you need two hoses to save time cleaning one and then disconnecting and connecting to the other.  Also get a clear elbow hose as it is important to know when the tank is clean.  Lastley since the black tank often clogs up we found having a magic wand which is a sideways spray hose that you put down the toilet is a great way to really clean a tank and get those stupid idiot lights to work again (we hate it when we empty the tank and still have lights saying tank is full).  But look up for my list I cannot find it right now otherwise I would post it again.

OH BOY!  Did you ask a big question there!!Smile  For starters, get a medium size tool box along with square headed screw driver, a Water pressure regulator, leveling blocks (at least 10)  Tire chocks, a white RV water hose, pliers, small Hammer, small set of wrenches, water filter to the outside water hookup, extra clips for the hitch and anti sway device.  adapter from 110v to 30amp power cord, 
These are just a few things that come immediately to mind.  I will post again whenever i think of something.  I have a feeling you will get more suggestions from this website.............Great people.

i did not buy a starter kit for full disclosure.  but, i would shop around and get what you need.  Amazon, camping world, etc. 

as GG said, you need a decent sewer hose and water supply hose start.  look around here on the forum and you will find many discussions of items needed for camping.  That is the fun of it to me, figuring it all out. 

one thing that i remember that caught me by surprise was a socket to fit the water heater anoid rod. 
1 1/8" i think. Confused

The starter kit is not quite useless. The stuff in it is usually pretty cheap. The sewer drain hose works, but is too short. The water hose that came in ours leaked. 

You will probably need a longer and better quality hoses (both drain and supply), plus other things as well. 

You can use the same drain hose for both black and gray. After we drain the black water, we drain the gray tank to sort of clear the black line.
