It requires those to be reset for the fridge to work on 120 volts. Just press the test and reset buttons a few times and try the fridge again<div><br></div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8979" rel="nofollow">Colorado</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12430<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22 Nov 2018 at 5:28pm<br /><br /><div>We are new to the R-Pod community and are working on a 2015 Model 178.&nbsp; The 3 way Dometic Fridge MEI model RM8501.&nbsp; The Electronic control panel turns on and only the 12V light illuminates along with the temperature indicator.&nbsp; It will not switch to 120 or propane when you push the buttons (the buttons will not illuminate).&nbsp; I have removed the electronic control module from the back but it is a sealed unit (epoxy filled from the back) with not way to open and no fuses obvious.</div><div><br></div><div>I have tried to reset using the warning button and tried to reset by holding the temperature button and powering on etc to no avail.&nbsp; Am I missing the fuses?&nbsp; Does the control panel over the door need replacing ($300 plus part) or the control panel on the back?&nbsp; I have checked the breaker also and power to the back of the fridge (both DC and AC power arrive to the buss bar in the back).<br></div><div><br></div><div>The unit runs on 12V.&nbsp; Anybody had any similar problems?<br></div>]]>
