And free Amazon Prime shipping.... I think that just about makes my mind up!&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>I'm going to be installing an inverter, lithium battery, and some other electronic gear under the bed in the difficult to access area toward the front of the under bed storage in the 179. So, I'll be having to get in there pretty regularly at least at first until I get everything sorted and working right. I'll have to work out a way to roll up the mattress and weight it down. I know from our home mattress that its kind of like trying to push up a rope the way the foam flops around.&nbsp;</div>]]>

That causes me some concern as its essential to be able to get in there to work on the appliances and systems under the bed. And being a 179&nbsp; I also have the tongue weight issue.</b></font><div><font color="#6a6a6a" face="Roboto, arial, sans-serif" size="2"><b><br></b></font></div><div><font color="#6a6a6a" face="Roboto, arial, sans-serif" size="2"><b>So based on mcarter's comments I think the 10 inch mattresses are out for me, looks like they weigh over 70 lbs! There are Zinus 8 and 6 inch foam mattresses on Amazon for very reasonable prices, with lots of positive reviews. I'm already at about 570 lbs tongue weight now fully loaded, the last thing I need is more weight up front in my 179. Love it!! Really comfortable, getting a great nights sleep. I think it was around $400.00<br /><br />Previously we had the original mattress with the memory foam topper also. This is a major improvement.]]>

A lot has to do with who is sleeping on it.  My wife and I together don't weigh 300 lbs, but we like firm.]]>

Did you go for a firm or a soft mattress?<div><br></div><div>Specifically in our case, we currently have the original FR mattress with a couple inch foam topper and my wife wants something more comfortable. We use a memory (visco-elastic) foam mattress at home. A lot of them are too soft for me or too firm for her, so we ended up with a compromise, a quite firm foam mattress with a relatively soft topper.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks!</div>]]>
