So how about this, FR?  With each model of R-Pod, how about introducing "X," "XL" and "XLT" packages similar to cars?  These packages would each come with a specific set of basics/upgrades.  

The basic "X" pkg could be pretty much the basic Pod but without TV, oven, a/c, and heater.  The stripped down Pod.
"XL" would be what we have today as standard.  
And then "XLT" could have upgrades such as the screen door bar; better audio/sound system/speakers; better sink and shower faucets; a better mattress; a larger TV with full-tilt bracket; "comfort height" toilet with foot pedal... etc.
