Depending on the out of level situation, and a stronger stabilizer/jack, you might just be tweaking the frame. I know that I've read (somewhere, maybe on this forum?) where people have used the scissor jacks to level their pod, only to find that it's caused problems with the door frame.

Putting it another way, a stronger jack might be able to level your pod, but the frame might not be able to handle all that stress all the way out on the corner.

I also thought about that. I use my jack to level front to back. My concern was the frame may have issues with corner lifting. I have had my Pod tweaked enough the door was hard to open and shut. SO there is some amount of frame flex. Not sure what the current rating of stabilizers is, seem to recall 2500 lbs, which is more than adequate to left a corner (rating wise). The other thing that concerned me was the securing hardware, which is basically sheet metal screws.

On the front page was a selection of stabilizer jacks. They looked a bit heavier duty than the ones on my pod. I did not see a price. But they had jacks there rated for 5000 lbs, would in theory lift the whole pod.

And I wondered. What is to keep a guy from ordering a couple of those, mounting them on the front, using them to level. Then run the others down to stabilize. Keep the old ones for spares?

Wouldn't that be easier than this mucking about blocking wheels?

I'm probably wanting to defy some cosmic rule of camping here.
