I would first turn off the water, disconnect the water line at the base of the valve. <br></div><div>Turn on the water. Fountain? problem with/in the valve. <br></div><div>No fountain? problem with crimped or pinched line. <br></div><div>Troubleshoot either as needed. <br></div>]]>

At least yearly.  If your anode rod is degrading quickly, the quality of water you're getting may be suspect.  Maybe high in Sulphur or hydrogen sulfate, if you are using a magnesium rod, try switching to aluminum, just for grins and see how that works.  Keeping that little aerator clean is good.]]>

We're on our sixth trip to Big Sur, CA, and I need help!<div><br></div><div><div>The last trip we noticed that the water pressure in the sink had started to decrease, but was still acceptable.</div><div><br></div><div>This trip, after we hooked up to city water, the pressure was ok for about 10 minutes, and then decreased to a slow drip. It's now unusable. The water pressure for the toilet flush is about 25-50% of normal.</div><div><br></div><div>The water pressure in the inside shower and outside shower are fine.</div><div><br></div><div><ul><li>I've confirmed pressure from the city water is fine.</li><li>I also drained all water using the water low-point drains, and then re-hooked up to city water, thinking maybe it was an air bubble.</li></ul></div></div><div>Neither of these helped.</div><div><br></div><div>Has anyone else encountered this?
