Luckily it held in before anything truly bad happened. Bringing it to the shop next week for repair then will be securing with some clevis hangers for extra insurance!&nbsp;<div>We have only owned ours since June, yikes!</div>]]>

Both broke again!👎 See if you can get them to install the clevis hangars (with lockwashers) Our dealer saw the issue and started using them. ]]>

I put a couple videos together showing what I did, both the bolt replacement and pipe strap used. Haven't had any issue since and I've put quite a bit of mileage on since.&nbsp;This is a fix that was &lt; $10 total. (Our only suggestion is utilize lockwashers to secure the hangars! 👍🏼 ]]>

After reading the horror stories of what could happen, I added a pair of Clevis hangars which are quite stout. The old straps are still there, so I'm hoping this works going forward.]]>

I also am planning on attending the 10 anniversary rally at Green River Lake State Park in Kentucky next month. Since this is an official R-Pod rally, there should be a factory representative there. If so, I plan on bringing this topic up and see if there anything is in the works or has been done to fix this recurring problem.<br>]]>

I had never heard before about this issue, but sure enough, the black tank bracket on our 2015 178 Rpod  broke as we were traveling in the Quebec boonies. Fortunate we found a Rv dealer in a smsll town who got us in right away to fix it.  Hopefully it will last for the last 2500 miles. No problem - yet- with our gray water bracket. Thanks for your posts...I don’t feel so alone.  Ha. ]]>

We used bungee cords as temporary fix till we could schedule repairs at our dealer. <br /><br />The dealer repaired both "no charge" with the same type of metal that straps?  Both were broken again in less than 300+miles!👎<br /><br />We used the suggested advice of others on this forum, and secured the termination pipes to the frame with 2"& 3" clevis hangers.<br /><a href="https://postimg.cc/D8fVg2dz" target="_blank"><img src="https://i.postimg.cc/D8fVg2dz/20180920_121137.jpg" border="0" /></a> 👈They work great!👍🏼 <br /><br />Only had to add lock washers to prevent 🤪 nut from coming loose.<br />Thanks again for the tip on the cleavis hangers! ]]>

After the first time, a second bracket was installed at the factory when it went there for repair. Two brackets weren't enough. The bolts in both came off and it was worse than the first time since the second time the valve came open and the contents of the black tank were left on the highway. I made a new bracket that is completely different from the first ones (see my mods). We already had one long trip and are in the middle of another one. This one is holding firm.]]>

No issue with grey.  I've used this forum on numerous occasions to give me alerts on issues , and I fixed them before they had a negative effect.  Better to be proactive than reactive.]]>
