Congratulations on your 180! We bought our 180 new this past June and we love it!!
Just got back from a 2,200 mile trip to Oregon for the NW rPod Meetup at Cannon Beach.
Everything on the trailer worked perfectly and my wife Genéte and I are still blown away by how much nicer and easier it is to use than our old Coleman Sequoia tent trailer.

Congrats on your new 180 Shane and Sarah! We have the same model and love the little camper. It sound like your doing things right by taking short trips while your getting to know the in's and outs of your new camper and modifications you would like to do on it in the future. Since you mentioned your hot water heater one of the first modifications I did was to install a protected switch to turn the water heater electric on/off from inside the camper. That way I don't have to fuss with the water heater cover outside when I want to run it on shore power.Have fun and enjoy!

We just bought our first rv, the R-Pod 180 and my wife and I so far love it. Had an issue trying to figure out how to use the water heater but I think we figured it out. We have another outing planned in Oct. For all of you my name is Shane and my wife is Sarah, and we hope to chat with some of you in the near future. We are planning lots of trip next year. Mostly weekend trips but we do have 2 weeks for a bigger trip, possibly Yellowstone National Park. We are from northern Illinois. We started camping in a cabin type tent and this is our upgrade.
