Personally, I think your going to really like it! I can think of a few times I could have used it over setting up my Dome. 4 places we stayed we're extremely buggy and the site (because of the trees) was too tight to set the Dome. Yet away from the camper there was plenty of room. Could have used it!

I also think of those one-night-hits we did boondocking we're I wanted to set the Dome, but did not. I believe you will find it easier/quicker then my Dome. Can't see it taking up much more space than my Dome when stowed for travel.

I have the a Dome, but am looking at a Clam to add to the arsenal! 

I see so many benefits to it. Shame I couldn't get in on the BB&B clear-out that happened..

I'm sure they didn't figure staking time into that 45-second estimate. Yes, please do let us know! We never say never ... but both of us are really reluctant to attach anything on the order of an R-Dome to our trailer, even though we can completely understand the benefits. We have used screen rooms at times here at home and on camping trips, and think that setup better suits us. I've been paying attention to the various options as we will most likely purchase a screen room by spring, so very interested in your feedback. Thank you!
