New Camper Search : We have been searching for over...

    Author: David and Danette
Subject: 12088
Posted: 21 Aug 2018 at 8:53am

We have been searching for over a year for a larger camper that we liked and could afford. We think we have found it a 2017 Coachmen Freedom Express 204rd. I was wanting to stay with a fiberglass roof and torsion axle but could not find a camper with those two and bigger than the camper we have now. With our Vibe we were not far from a r-pod in design but with the Coachmen it will be different and something that we will need to adjust to. I haven't had a trailer with springs in over 30 years and that was a sailboat trailer. This will be our first camper with a TPO roof too. I hope that it will be just a little more maintenance and not problems. There is not much of a Coachmen forum that I know of and the r-pod forum is one I feel at home with so will continue with this forum. The extra space will sure be nice to have. About 18 months ago we were told my wife had Huntingtons disease, its rare but very hereditary she lost her mother, grandmother and aunt to the disease. Woody Guthrie the folk singer and his mother died from the disease. Our faith in God and thinking positive will get us through this challenging time. They have some very promising medicines in progress and we are hoping they will be helpful and available soon. So this has been our reason for our search for a larger more comfortable camper that we can travel back and forth between Tennessee and South Florida to visit family. David and Danette
