It will fit just fine. The issues are length of the rail on the Pod, and the diameter of the rail. Those are both long rail Pods, and neither is a 2011 or earlier, so they both have the 14mm keder rail. BTW shipping a complete dome runs about $40. Sorry you got cheated on your campground Investment.

I just searched on this forum and found feedback that the 179 and 180 used a slightly larger size than the other rPods. Don’t know of an official resource on this.

If you head this way you’re welcome to confirm it fits your trailer before buying. I like the National Park campground in Frisco which is just up the road from us. No hookups though, but there are plenty of private ones that do have.

Hi Paul,

We love the Outter Banks.  We bought into a campground their in 1984 but got cheated out of our $ 12k along with all of the other owners.

Is there a resource that confirms which Rpods can share which options?

Hi Chris, congratulations on your purchase.

I have an rdome for my 2015 179. I understand that the 179 and 180 use the same size rdome and it is a little larger than the one for the other rPods. Mine is green with a tan top and matches the color of my 179 so will probably match your 180. I've used it only once.  Not sure the the previous owner of the trailer ever used it, it looked brand new when I got it. I'd like to get $250 for it, you pay for shipping or take a camping trip over to the beach and pick it up. I'm in Hatteras NC.

Greetings to all,

We just bought our 2017 Rpod 180.  It’s the early (green) model.  It didn’t come with any type of canopy or Rdome.

If anyone has either or both that they are not going to use we would be very interested in buying them.
